About us

My first floral wall, installed at Phoenix Fashion Week-Talking Stick Resort, Scottsdale AZ Me & my boyfriend Scott MacDonald who thankfully was the brains and engineer of the wall.

Hello my name is Mary Gillane owner of Lotus Creative Consulting.

My original idea for Lotus Creative came from my final portfolio in college I wanted to create a  company to help small retail stores throughout Arizona by offering marketing, buying and accounting services.

Not too long afterI graduated College (mind you , I went back to school at a later age to get my degree in Fashion Marketing and graduated in 2011) I was offered an assistant shoe buying position with a local retailer in Arizona, it ended up not being  the job for me, and after a year and half I left the retail industry all together.  What I wanted and what makes me most happy is being creative.  I have always loved graphic design and although it was not my major I do have design experience from going to an art school, and I  have dabbled in the graphic design world on the side which has been a major advantage for me in designing paper florals.

It was in early 2016 when I stumbled across some paper florals online and fell in love with them immediately, although nothing would ever replace a real flower there was just something so elegant about the texture and look of paper florals, I made a few for my apartment and I was hooked! I thought if I loved them so much there has got to be others out there that feel the same way as I do.    I can remember as a child always making paper flowers for every type of event, weddings, graduations you name it I was always down for making a big flower out of tissue paper. Who knew that later in life I would make a living out of it, and I couldn’t be happier!

So if you are looking for paper florals for your next event, whether it be a few here and there or an entire wall of 500 paper roses, no job is too big or too small, and no budget is too big or too small! Please send me an inquiry and lets work on ideas for your next event.
